It is attention-grabbing to look again at well-intentioned unhealthy concepts for automobiles. An early automaker created a literal mechanical horse, which ran on a single wheel and was connected to the shaft of a buggy like an actual horse. It was not directed by a steering wheel, however by reins connected to the “mouth” of a motorized horse. Different early experimental automobiles ran on compressed pure fuel (yikes), steam, compressed air, and even, sure, electrical energy.
